SE Ranking free trial: 14 days with no card, and what happens at the end

Is SE Ranking free? The trial, the free tools and no free plan

Not as a plan: SE Ranking has no permanent free plan. The free options are a 14-day free trial with no credit card required and a few free tools. After the trial, Core is $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 a month billed annually, as read on October 7, 2026; SE Ranking pricing lists every plan.

Without an account, the free tools give daily checks in the Google Rank Checker, the Website Traffic Checker and the Keyword Research Tool, and SE Ranking's Rank Tracker page offers a check of up to 5 keywords a day for free.

What the 14-day trial includes

SE Ranking calls the trial fully functional, with starter usage: up to 10 projects (a project is one website), 3 manager seats, 750 tracked keywords a day, 20 AI prompts a day and AI competitive research for up to 3 domains. It also opens 100,000 API credits, the Agency Pack, AI Search, 3 Local Marketing Plus locations and 5 Report Builder reports. The website audit covers up to 1,000 pages per project.

The Agency Pack is the add-on that holds white label, so white label is open during the trial. For the steps, see how to use SE Ranking.

What the trial leaves out

SE Ranking's help center says the trial does not include keyword database expansion, MCP access (a connection that lets AI assistants query SE Ranking data) or additional client seats. MCP is included in paid plans.

SE Ranking's Terms let it decide which functions the trial includes, and its FAQ page says an extension is not a standard path: the usual route is a paid plan or a talk with sales. Is SE Ranking good lists the limits worth weighing first.

When the trial ends: no charge, then a plan or nothing

The trial does not renew into a paid subscription, and you are not charged when it ends. Access then becomes inactive. To continue, buy Core or Growth from the trial account's Billing page; the trial account is then deactivated. A paid plan has no money-back guarantee: payments are non-refundable, except where the service was not delivered as promised.

Moving from another rank tracker: SE Ranking's FAQ names Semrush, Ahrefs, AgencyAnalytics, AccuRanker and Serpstat as migration sources, and assisted migration is free only with an annual subscription. On a monthly plan you use the self-serve import.

How the trial compares with Semrush, Serpstat, Moz Pro and Ahrefs

Semrush keeps a free plan for one website and 10 tracked keywords in Position Tracking; SE Ranking has none. Pick SE Ranking's trial to work through a full set of tools with no card, and Semrush's free plan if you track one website and want no end date.
