SE Ranking vs Mangools: tracked keywords, daily or weekly updates and team seats

SE Ranking vs Mangools: plans compared

SE Ranking Core tracks 2,000 keyword and search engine pairs a day across 10 projects for $129 a month billed monthly, or $103.20 a month billed annually, as read on October 7, 2026. Mangools Basic tracks 200 keywords with weekly updates and adds no seats. Mangools showed no US-dollar price and no currency control on October 7, 2026, so its price is on Mangools' page and not here.

Growth is $279 a month billed monthly or $223.20 a month billed annually, and tracks 5,000 pairs across 30 projects. See SE Ranking pricing for both plans and the add-ons.

Rank tracking: 2,000 daily pairs against 200 to 1,500 Mangools keywords

Mangools tracks 200 keywords on Basic, 700 on Premium and 1,500 on Agency. Updates are weekly, and daily only on Agency. SE Ranking checks standard rankings once a day on both plans.

A small-business owner with 200 keywords to track fits Mangools Basic exactly, with no room to add more. On SE Ranking, 200 keywords on one search engine use 200 of Core's 2,000 pairs, and each extra search engine counts the same keywords again.

Seats and team work

Mangools lists no extra seats on Basic, 3 on Premium and 5 on Agency. SE Ranking Core includes 1 manager seat and Growth 3; a manager seat is a user who can create and edit projects and manage settings. More manager seats cost from $16 a month on any plan.

For client work, Core includes 10 Report Builder reports and Growth 30, and Core includes 3 Local Marketing locations for Google Maps rankings, checked weekly by default.

Refunds, renewals and accounts without a card

Both can be opened without a card: Mangools with an account, SE Ranking with its 14-day trial. The trial does not renew into a paid plan, and you are not charged when it ends.

Mangools gives a full refund within 48 hours of payment, except for two consecutive subscriptions, and renews each month or year until you switch it off. SE Ranking has no money-back guarantee; its payments are non-refundable unless the service was not delivered as promised. Canceling stops SE Ranking's auto-renewal, and the plan runs to the end of the paid period.

Who should pick Mangools and who should pick SE Ranking

Pick Mangools Basic for a short keyword list checked weekly, with a 48-hour refund window. Pick SE Ranking for daily checks across client sites, with Report Builder reports and local tracking. SE Ranking alternatives covers other tools, and best SEO tools for freelancers suits a solo buyer.
