What SE Ranking is and what it replaces

SE Ranking is a subscription SEO platform that puts daily rank tracking, a website audit, keyword, competitor and backlink research and scheduled client reports in one plan. SE Ranking says its value is combining rank tracking, research, audits, reporting and local SEO in one subscription instead of several tools.

Core, the entry plan, is $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 a month billed annually, as read on October 7, 2026; SE Ranking pricing lists the plans and add-ons. The 14-day free trial opens the rank tracker, website audit, research and Report Builder with starter usage, and no card is asked for before you choose Core or Growth. There is no permanent free plan.

You work in a web app organized by project, which is one website with its rankings, competitors and audits. SE Ranking's standalone API plan gives data access without the app.

The audit can render JavaScript for dynamic sites, and a stand-alone audit runs without a project. Local Marketing adds Google Maps rank tracking, with 3 Plus locations on Core (a Plus location is a business location with 500 Local & Map keywords). Content Marketing includes 25 articles on Core.

Data Studio, Matomo, Google Analytics and Search Console connect on every plan, and an AI Results Tracker covers five AI engines, per SE Ranking's help center. SE Visible is its separate AI-visibility product.

Who uses SE Ranking and who does not need it

Core suits a consultant or small agency with up to 10 sites and one editor, and Growth suits up to 30 sites, 3 editors and client guest links.

A one-site owner with a short keyword list fits better with Moz Pro Starter, $49 a month on Moz's pricing page, which does not say whether that is billed monthly, or with Ubersuggest Individual, 1 project and 125 keywords, price on its page. For crawling alone, Screaming Frog's paid SEO Spider is $279 per license per year; SE Ranking vs Screaming Frog sets the two side by side.

What SE Ranking does not do

SE Ranking gives data and recommendations, but it does not change your site. Its own FAQ says its search volume figures trail Semrush and Ahrefs. It has no Chrome extension of its own.
