SE Ranking: daily tracking at the Ahrefs Lite price

SE Ranking checks standard rankings once a day, and the schedule cannot be changed. Core allows 10 projects, each one website with its own rankings, competitors and audits, and 2,000 keyword and search engine pairs a day, so 30 keywords on 2 engines use 60. Ahrefs Lite allows 5 projects and counts tracked keywords, so the two allowances are not the same unit.

Unlike Ahrefs, SE Ranking has a 14-day trial, and it does not ask for a card. Ahrefs says it runs no discounts and has no free trial, though Ahrefs Free is open to website owners.

One limit is search volume: SE Ranking's own FAQ says its figures currently trail Semrush and Ahrefs. Pick SE Ranking Core for daily checks across 10 projects at the Ahrefs Lite monthly price; stay with Ahrefs when search volume data matters most. SE Ranking vs Ahrefs compares the two plan by plan.

Semrush: daily tracking inside another large suite

Semrush's SEO plan monitors 5 websites and tracks 500 keywords daily, and it lists Position Tracking, Site Audit and basic keyword research and competitor analysis. It has a free plan limited to one website and 10 keywords in Position Tracking, and a seven-day trial that needs a card.

No US-dollar price showed on Semrush's page on 7 October 2026, so none is given here; the page says annual billing saves up to 17%. Pick Semrush over Ahrefs for daily updates and a no-cost start on one website. Semrush alternatives lists the other options.

Serpstat and Moz Pro: lower monthly prices than Ahrefs Lite

Serpstat Individual covers 5 projects and a pool of 10,000 position checks a month, with daily updates available. Its 7-day trial charges $1 to verify a card, returned within 5 to 30 minutes, and then charges the plan after 7 days unless canceled. Pick Serpstat Individual for daily checks at a lower price than Ahrefs Lite.

Moz Pro Standard covers 3 tracked sites and 300 tracked keywords, updated weekly, and it shows positions only to the top 20. Its trial covers the Medium plan only and needs a card. Pick Moz Pro Standard when weekly updates are enough and a lower monthly price than Ahrefs Lite matters.

AccuRanker: daily updates on 2,000 keywords

AccuRanker prices by keyword count: Professional covers 2,000 keywords with daily updates, and its plans rise to 25,000 keywords before Enterprise. Its pricing page lists no trial and offers a demo, and an FAQ gives a 14-day refund policy from the first purchase.

Pick AccuRanker Professional for 2,000 keywords updated daily when a price above Ahrefs Lite's is acceptable. For tracking alone, the best rank tracker page sets AccuRanker beside other tools.
