Semrush, Mangools and Ubersuggest showed no price for US buyers on October 7, 2026, so their rows point to each vendor's own page. The baseline is SE Ranking Core at $129 a month billed monthly or $103.20 a month billed annually, for 10 projects and 2,000 keyword pairs checked daily.

Units differ: SE Ranking counts keyword and search engine pairs, Ahrefs and Moz Pro count tracked keywords, and Serpstat counts position checks a month.

Semrush and Ahrefs: for search volume data

SE Ranking's own FAQ says its search volume figures trail both Semrush and Ahrefs, so pick one of them when keyword volume is the deciding data. Semrush says its rankings update daily, and SE Ranking vs Semrush compares the two.

Ahrefs Lite is $129 a month billed monthly or $108 a month billed annually; it includes 1 user and adds 2 more at $40 a month each, and rank tracking updates weekly on every Ahrefs plan. Ahrefs lists no free trial and says it does not issue refunds in general.

Moz Pro and Serpstat: smaller plans for fewer sites

Moz Pro Standard is $99 a month billed monthly, or $79 a month for the first year billed yearly, for 3 tracked sites. Moz updates rankings weekly and shows only the top 20 positions. Moz Pro Starter, $49 a month on Moz's pricing page, which does not say whether that is billed monthly, is for a single website. Moz's free trial is for Medium plans only and needs a valid credit card.

Serpstat Individual is $69 a month billed monthly, or $50 a month with the annual discount, for 5 projects, and Serpstat lists API and MCP on its Team plan. A position check is one rank check drawn from a monthly pool of 10,000. Serpstat Team is $129 a month billed monthly, or $100 a month with the annual discount, for unlimited projects and 3 members, which matches Core's monthly price. Mangools and Ubersuggest: lighter tools for one or a few sites

Mangools Basic tracks 200 keywords with weekly updates, Premium 700 with 3 extra seats and Agency 1,500 with 5; daily updates are on Agency only. Mangools gives a full refund within 48 hours of payment, except for 2 consecutive subscriptions.

Ubersuggest Individual covers 1 project with 125 keywords per project, Business 7 projects with 150 each and Enterprise 15 with 300 each, all checked weekly. Ubersuggest offers a one-time 7-day free trial on monthly subscriptions.

SE Ranking free alternative: free plans and free accounts

SE Ranking has no free plan, and its free tools need no account. Among the alternatives, Semrush has a free plan for one website and 10 tracked keywords in Position Tracking, Ahrefs offers Ahrefs Free to website owners, Mangools offers a free account with no card required, and Ubersuggest lets an account downgrade to a free account.
